We provide both in-person and virtual counselling, using an approach that promotes balance across the mental, emotional, spiritual, and physical aspects of self while instilling hope, belonging, meaning, and purpose.
Our approach blends contemporary therapies with Indigenous ways of knowing to support individuals, families, groups, and communities on their healing journey.
AMIS enables direct referrals to NNADAP and NYSAP treatment centres across Canada, streamlining the process and improving access to care. We use a strengths-based, culturally grounded approach that honors each person's self-determination throughout their recovery.
Flexible scheduling, including evenings and weekends, ensures accessible care for those in both remote and urban communities across the province. Sessions are provided by Registered Social Workers and are covered through Non-Insured Health Benefits (NIHB) or most private health benefit plans.
